Idania Barrera raised four boys in the East Palo Alto community and the youngest is a student at Menlo-Atherton High School. So, she brings many years of experience to her role as an Apprentice Teacher in the KHIT. Idania is enjoying taking the WestEd Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) and plans to continue her studies at Foothill College. In her “spare” time, she loves learning new things, especially about how children and people learn.
