Maxinne was born in the Philippines, and moved to California in 2005. From an early age, she knew she wanted to work with children: growing up, she would volunteer at summer camps, children’s centers, and was the designated family babysitter. Maxinne graduated from San Francisco State with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and has supplemented her studies with early childhood education courses from SFSU, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College. Maxinne has been a teacher since 2018. In her spare time, she runs a newsletter filled with resources for parents about early childhood development.
