Daisy Avalos was born and raised in East Palo Alto. She completed general classes at Cañada College, is taking the WestEd Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC), and plans to further her education in early childhood development. Daisy volunteered in many places including “For Youth” based in San Francisco where they are creating an app to help the youth access mental health information and the local YMCA where she assisted in the programs. Although Daisy does not have children, she enjoys working with children and cherishes every moment she gets to watch them grow, learn, and have fun.
