Yadira is originally from Mexicali, B.C, Yadira started in the Early Childhood Education field in 2006, as an Early Interventionist – ABA technician working with neurodiversity children. Home visiting applying the SCERTS model to children with autism and Speech delays. Years later, she became a Preschool teacher in an inclusive classroom including Infants and Toddlers 0-3 yrs old, working in a Parent participation program as a Family Educator with 0-5 yrs and their parents, leading Parent Education series. Yadira worked as a Program Coordinator working directly with teachers and the community of East Palo Alto and Redwood City. She volunteers as Parent to Parent support for families with children with learning differences. She continues with her education in the Special Education area and Leadership. She enjoys spending time with her three children and husband playing outdoors, loves arts and crafts, and baking, and loves interacting with her community. ”Kindness, Love, and Respect” is her favorite quote.
