Assistant Director Job Description

Work as a contributing member of a management team in a growing early education program that serves children and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.  Support and inspire teachers’ ongoing professional development and contribute to creating an engaging learning environment for children based on an Emergent Curriculum Model.  Work to build a strong, nurturing and collaborative community among children, teachers, and families.

A note about our operations during the COVID-19 pandemic:  Children and teachers are all outdoors, every day, all day, except for lunchtime and nap time. All Five provides children and teachers cold-weather and rain-weather gear.

Teacher Job Description

Work as a contributing member of a teaching team, assisting in managing a group of children. There are positions available to work with our infants and toddlers whose ages range from 6 weeks to 2 years 9 months and as well as positions available in our preschool classrooms working with children between the ages of 2 years 9 months, and 5 years old. Express caring and respect for the growth processes of children while assisting in providing direct care and education in a full-day program.  Show active learning by watching other teachers, asking questions and taking initiative in areas open for assistance. Contribute to creating an engaging learning environment for children based on an Emergent Curriculum Model.

All Five operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  This position requires at least 8 full hours per day of work in the classroom.
